Buying a new car is an infrequent activity. If a dealer waits until the customer comes back for a new car he might not see them for three years if he is lucky and, of course, possibly longer .
So how does a company keep maintaining an awareness or better still a relationship with a customer so that they are comfortable and familiar enough to have a car brand and preferably a specific dealer as top of mind when they come to renewing their vehicle?
We are fortunate to have one of Toyota Australia’s most senior executives Tony Cramb who is their executive director sales and marketing.
