Gideon Haigh has written a book called End of the Road? The title ends with a question mark. There is a sub title that says “Why we have the car industry we do; why is it in trouble and what the debate over its future tells us about Australia today”.
He claims not to be an expert in the field but he adds a human touch to the debate.
