The Kia Sportage is a classified as a medium sized SUV priced under $60,000.
So far this year this segment of the market has not been growing. Sales are down 2% compared to last year. Sportage sales however have grow 11% but it is still only seventh in the sales race behind things like the Mazda CX5, Toyota RAV4, Subaru Forester, Nissan X-Trail, Honda CR-V and Mitsubishi Outlander.
