The Mitsubishi Triton is a utility in the style that grew out of early Japanese buzz boxes and have growth into reasonably respectable utes, good in size and, with a large dual cab, they are often used for work during the week and for the family on the weekend.
There is a good range of vehicles competing for the segment such as Toyota Hilux, Nissan Navara, Ford Ranger, Holden Colorado, Mazda BT-50, Isuzu Ute D-Max
Last year Triton sales, for the four wheel drive versions, increased enormously: up 57% for the whole year and 300% for the month of December. This year it’s the two wheel drives that are up. The four wheel drives had a good January however a bad February.
