Why Australia is so far behind with encouraging electric vehicles
No matter what you think about global environmental issues, the very clear fact is that local pollution in our cities is harming and killing people. We need to act now.
Electric cars will reduce local effects not only in terms of harmful gases but also in terms of noise pollution.
Furthermore, alternative power sources for transport represent, in an increasing way jobs and growth in the future.
So, should we actively encourage the adoption of these vehicles. And by encourage, I mean do more than just cheer from the side lines but rather provide incentives and/or infrastructure to help vehicle manufacturers promote vehicles to customers.
