With the recent wave of euphoria about autonomous cars many people have imagined indeed verge on fantasying about the potential for motoring utopia – chauffeur style travel for all your needs.
Of course it is not that simple.
The international consulting company WSP (Formally WSP parsons Brinkerhoff) has just published a white paper New Mobility Now – A practical Guide). It was launched at the ITS World Congress 2017 in Montreal.
Scott Benjamin is WSP’s Technical Director for Intelligent Transport in Australia and New Zealand had a big hand in the report and has been travelling the world talking about its implications.
