Quirky News: 2017 Super Bowl Cars Ads. Truisms, lifestyle values, technology and humour; But Sales?

As is traditional at this time of year we have the Super Bowl in America and we at Overdrive critically review the car ads that played during this “football” game.  At $5.5 million dollars they charge to run a 30 second ad let alone the cost to produce them, you would think they would be good.

We think the ads show truisms, lifestyle values, social values, pulling the heart strings, technology and humour.  It is much more grand image than specific features.
