Isuzu is a Japanese company that builds Heavy- medium- and light-duty trucks, buses, passenger vehicle engines, industrial-use diesel engines.

They have sold cars in Australia some branded as Holden’s.  In fact this badge engineering worked both ways with the Holden Statesman briefly being sold in Japan under the Isuzu name in the seventies.

Now Isuzu are selling a ute in Australia the D-Max Ute – which is competing with things like the Toyota Hi-lux, Ford Range and many more.

This December Isuzu will launch a new SUV on the market – The MU-X.

A person who has just been to Thailand to see the what Isuzu is about to offer is motoring journalist Chris Gable who joins us on the line.
