Overdrive’s artist in residence, Dean Oliver, has a 1976 Kombi camper van.
It is typical of the time. A bed, stove and fridge crammed into available space.
But camper vans and the bigger vehicles called motor homes have come a long way and there has been an Australian company that has just celebrated 40 years in the business. It’s called Trakka. Dave Berry is the founder and managing director. He is currently at the South Coast Caravan, camping and holiday expo at Bateman’s Bay but he has taken time out to join us on the line.
